The Look
Gallery
Every image on this page is freely licensed, credited to its photographer, and linked to its source. No press photos, no rights guesswork.
A fan archive has to be more careful with images than with words. Concert photography, album artwork and press shots are almost always under copyright, so this gallery uses only imagery published under Creative Commons or other free licences via Wikimedia Commons. Each picture carries its photographer credit and links back to its source page, where the exact licence terms can be read. If you are a rights holder and believe something here is misattributed, contact us and it will be corrected or removed promptly.

Portraits and Public Life
Why is this gallery small?
Because we only publish what we can license. The most famous images of Elton John — the Dodger Stadium sequins, the Troubadour shots, the classic album covers — are professional photography under active copyright, and a fan site does not acquire rights by enthusiasm. The freely licensed pool grows over time, and this page grows with it. If you are a photographer with freely licensed Elton John images you would like featured and credited, we would love to hear from you.
